Scope of Services and Description of Duties :

 

Khao Laem Ya – Samet Islands is national park since 1980. The park area covers 131 km2 in which 94% is sea area. Designated Area for Sustainable Tourism Administration (DASTA) who is responsible for development of tourism resources that requires to be evolve the mentioned national park to be a modernized tourism resource. DASTA has then assigned ATT to perform a master plan and feasibility study with the following tasks :

 

1. Study and assessment of capability to serve tourists ;

2. To perform master plan and special area development for permanent tourism in Samet Islands and connected areas ;

3. Strategic plan for infra-structure and tourism resource development ;

4. Feasibility study on infra-structure development, e.g., water resource for consume, waste water collection and treatment, jetty, electricity supply system, etc., by which the studies will cover an appropriateness of engineering, economy, initial environmental impact assessment ;

5. Study and rehabilitation on coastal resources conversation ;

6. Study and specify on servicing standard and environment ;

7. To investigate and perform detailed design for construction of infra-structure stage 1 ;

8. Public relation and public hearing implementation.
