Phase 1 comprises of 6 terminals while Phase 2 comprises of 7 terminals, totally 13 terminals. These can be serviced for containers 11 million TEU per year and RO-RO (Cars) 1.5 million units per year. It is, however, forecasted that after the year 2015 the demand will reach its capacity. Therefore, PAT has planned to develop and construct the Laem Chabang Port\u2019s Project, Phase 3 in order to meet an increasing sea transportations in the country and in southeast Asia as well. The Laem Chabang Port Project, Phase 3 is intended to be designed with state-of-art port but friendly, and environmentally to community.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ATT Consultants Co., Ltd. (ATT) in association with TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd. (TEAM), SQ Architects and Planners Co., Ltd. (SQ), Daoreuk Communications Co., Ltd., TEAM Logistics and Transport Co., Ltd. (TLT) and Global Maritime and Port Services Pte Ltd. (GMAP) (Singapore) had been awarded to implement the Laem Chabang Port Project, Phase 3 for a period 2010-2012 with the following Tasks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Task 1 :<\/strong> Review of Related Previous Studies<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">The previous feasibility studies that related to the Laem Chabang Port Project which had been carried out by international consultants such as NEDECO (Netherland), Louis Berger (France), JICA (Japan), PASS Consortium (Thailand &amp; Japan), Coopers Lybrand Associates (England), Dorschconsult Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH (Germany).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Task 2 :<\/strong> Feasibility Study on Laem Chabang Port Project, Phase 3 Construction<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">The task will be implemented the feasibility studies on economic, engineering, and environmental impacts assessment (EIA).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Task 3 :<\/strong> Detailed Design of Laem Chabang Port Project, Phase 3 Construction<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">The assigned Consultants have to carry out the important works:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">1. Survey and investigation;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">2. Testing both of mathematical and physical models;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">3. Exercise by ship maneuvering with simulation test;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">4. Preliminary design drawings;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">5. Final design drawings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Task 4 :<\/strong> Tender Documents for Laem Chabang Port Project, Phase 3 Construction<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Task 5 :<\/strong> Other Works<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">The other works that to be implemented for the project is:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\">1.
